I do if you have a light layer of dry leaves it's great but if you have a pile of leaves the ones underneath are going to still be wet and you will spend more time cleaning it out. Best to rake and use this like a vacuum for the left over thin layer

So let's say I already have a gas powered blower, and I've waited until the yard is covered in a layer of leaves, and it hasn't rained recently, so they're dry. Is it better to blow leaves into a pile using the gas powered blower, and them use this mulcher to mulch that pile? Or, how would you recommend using it?

I spent far too much time this year blowing all the leaves from the front to the back yard, and no mulching done.

Blow the leaves if you out there daily with this your good. I rake into piles and then put into my yard bin. The left over leaves that are just scattered around I use this to basically vacuum

Great. How long have you had yours? Any issues with the bag? Someone in the review I was reading said that the bag has torn multiple times.

I had the previous model and the bag tore easily. Primary reason I stopped using it. I would not buy again.

I have the other brand Toro, and it does the same, but it has a metal impeller and it can even mulch a bit. I hardly have done that, just by chance. It works really well, but its about $70 on sale to 85. I did get a large volume blower, and use that to blow, and the Toro vac/blow model to vacuum. So, still to do both well, I ended up needing to get both.

Mulch them and leave em through the winter. It's fertilizer and protection for the grass
