I wouldn't be upset by this. The RP150 can be downgraded to BL/BR when you upgrade to say floorstanding speakers. This deal is great as a beginner set for sure and especially someone who has no plans to upgrade.
Personally any 5.1 would beat a soundbar from an immersive standpoint. However soundbars are self powered, that is you don't need a receiver to power a soundbar. This setup would require a receiver. Which even a basic 5.1 receiver would run you $200
True atmos and surround sound can't be achieved with a soundbar. With that said however if you don't want to run wires across your room or lack the space, soundbar is the way to go.
