I don't think this is true - I just rolled over mine with my computer chair. It pulled the wire and the unit seperated with the plug still in the outlet and box hanging by two wires.

It was held by plastic clips inside!

It's from Anker so I'm sure they have the ability to repackage defective units. Although. I'm going to guess most were just returns that were never broken.

It lists the voltages supported... If it supported pps, they'd probably mention it there, so I'd assume it doesn't.

Better is subjective but the one you posted doesn't use GAN technology, meaning it doesn't stay as cool as it's less efficient in delivering power. Still a good price for a decent charger.
