You can sign up for Dell Preferred Account to get $50 rewards + 3% rewards, and also get 10% off with DPA10 coupon code. So on checkout, I was billed:
$1,259.99 + tax of $88.20 = $1,348.19.

12% of $1,348.19 (from the CB place) = $161.78.

I was also able to talk to the sales advisor after purchase to take off the on-site/in-home 1 year service at a price of $56.02, and a wired keyboard at a price of $4.45 = $60.47.

$50 DPA rewards + 3% rewards: $50 + ($1,259.99- $60.47)*0.03 = $85.99.

So final price for this PC:
$1,348.19 - $161.78 - $60.47 - $85.99 = $1,036.95 (or $948.75 w/o tax for comparisons).

Dell also typically negotiates with you after you get the computer for you to keep the computer, if you say (and prove) that you found a better deal elsewhere. So fingers crossed that there comes a better deal between now and January when this thing ships! Get even more $ back.

Does the DPA10 code only works on new DPA accounts? I've already have the DPA account and the code doesn't work when choosing financing.

No clue... but the sales advisor told me it'd work if I create a new DPA account today, so I created a new one.

Nice stacking there, just purchased using the same process-- gotta call and see if I can take off the in home service. Curious what your spec sheet says, my specs say it is liquid cooling on the CPU which would be great if true, can you confirm? -- as we've all heard about the cooling issues with this box.

Thanks again!

I can confirm DPA10 works on existing DPA accounts. Just submitted the order with it. If it doesn't work, try logging out and doing a new cart and try to apply the code. If it works, login and complete the order, hopefully it'll persist.

My specs said liquid cooling too.

I'm in Oregon, but I didn't see the blurb about not shipping it like I normally do, so hey we'll see what happens. Maybe by January there will be new rules (knowing Oregon, they'll probably be more stringent. The things I sacrifice to not pump my own gas and no sales tax).

Hold on, let me do what's the new acceptable thing to do here, and take your steps and process then repost it as a new thread like it's my own idea 😎

No but really, that's a slick deal!

Can you PM me which CB you meant?

it looks like it is not LHR, some of the models are clearly marked LHR, but this one is not, and i asked a dell rep and they said it is NON-LHR

Thanks, do you think this applies to all Alienware R12 desktops with a 3060 ti? I was going to get it, but got rejected by DPA for whatever reason.

Hope youre right and that this is more cost effective than a 6900 xt I have shipping from Amazon in a couple days for a whopping $1500. Which would you choose? I bought this without DPA unfortunately but the 16% CB made me do it, can cancel later if 6900 xt is the way to go to avoid the hassle of selling off an Alienware without a GPU

I'm in for one.. ordered through chat last night… they gave me a price of about 1250 for this unit after I opened up new preferred credit line… on top of that should be a 50 dollar + 3 percent dell rewards promotion.

Currently I'm running a sapphire 570 nitro oc edition which I will sell on eBay for about 400 and my desktop is about 10 years old. Will part it out.

Never had Alienware and a little concerned with some of reviews and feedback, but this includes a 3060 ti edition with a liquid cpu cooler… so I don't think there is an issue with a price around 1235 before rewards?

Is my thesis correct?

Fyi per other thread: "Received mine today and came with 104-202 LHR. Very disappointed that Dell didn't put the LHR word on this model, but shipped the LHR model."
