Gonna hold out to see if deals get better for the 20gb plan. Might end up switching my family to visible for $25/mo unlimited data instead. Hotspot feature is super nice for reading on a tablet too

Not everyone lives in areas where you can easily access wifi. There are lots of (esp. rural) areas in the US where you cannot have cable and even cell phone service is extremely spotty.

I would go with Visible over this. I have myself and parents on Visible. The only place I've had a coverage issue is Door County Wisconsin.

If my wifi drops out for working from home, I just turn my wifi hotspot on and don't have to worry about data since it is unlimited.

Avoid redpocket whenever possible. I bought $1 for 30 day plan but sim card arrived 2 weeks late than 11/15. Contacted CS to see what options I have, and CS started to say the promo was only for new customer blah blah blah and never acknowledged the fact that the sim card was late. How the promo is only for new customer when I can buy it from existing account. I total understood the promo is over so they cannot re-active the sim card but it seems to me that RP trained their CS to find whatever possible way to blame the customers instead of helping them. Very disappointed how they treat the customer.
