If your regularly-priced ticket is more than the monthly cost, and you go to the theater 12 times a year, you'll save the difference. If it's less, then you'll need to see what the break-even point is, and decide if you can or want to see that many more movies in the theater to make it worthwhile.

Besides that, apparently there's like 3 levels of access by the way for Regal - Unlimited, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited All Access... not sure how that all figures in here though. Even if IMAX was included though, again, I'm not sure there's enough good choices out there.
Personally, I'll stick with my anime subscriptions, maybe the $1 hulu sub, disney+, and Netflix (for a while longer)... If I want to see a movie, I often can wait for it to be on Redbox for $1.50 - or at the library for free. (The exception being a few movies like the upcoming Spiderman one). I guess that's not the case for most people, but I digress.

Its like someone else said, if you are a movie person ( I am) and you have a Regal close to you, it's a solid deal.
I had this exact scenario happen to me, as I had just subscribed right before the lockdowns. They froze my membership as soon as their theaters shut down, so basically the entire pandemic didn't count against the 12 months of the membership. For reference, I bought the year membership in February 2020 and I'm still using it today.
