I just played the panel lottery twice with that Dell IPS gsync on sale at Best Buy. Both had way too much IPS glow on the left corners. I'm done with that game. On my way out from returning them I noticed on the display models that the curved monitors' curvature doesn't bother me *that* much. What sort of BS should I expect from going VA and how much defect should I be willing to accept?

I bought this monitor last month same price point, and I'm quite satisfied. But I can't get the monitor to tilt, not sure why it won't lol
*edit also the sound is quite horrid, def need speakers

Who lists a monitor deal but doesn't bother saying what kind?

You expected this to be IPS based on the info listed?
I keep hoping to find one though
What about the info makes it not possible it is IPS?

There actually is: https://www.bhphotovide
Sceptre IPS 27" QHD 2560 x 1440p LED Monitor DisplayPort HDMI up to 165Hz AMD FreeSync Premium 99% sRGB Build-in Speakers, Machine Black 2021 (E275B-QPT168) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095J68...P0HA2
Same price. Biggest difference (to me) looks like the Sceptre is IPS. Perhaps a more dubious brand though.
Missing the curved part
