Amtrak has launched its sixth annual Track Friday Sale, offering customers the opportunity to buy one ticket and bring a friend for free for travel throughout the Northeast from Brunswick, Maine, to Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., and through Virginia. Valid for coach on select trains traveling in the Northeast and Acela Business Class.

How do we find out which trains qualify? I'm looking at trains in NY State (From NYP) and don't see the deal, even after applying the code.

The "BOGO" only works on the "Value" tickets and not the "Saver" tickets. When searching for a ticket, hit the price for coach and it'll show the price of the value ticket is lower than saver. That's how you know the "BOGO" is working. If the "BOGO" worked on the Saver tickets, that would make it a better deal.

FYI this WAS true when it started, but last night and this morning I started seeing the promo work with **SOME** Value fares also. Unclear their logic because on the same train type on the same day with the same level of fullness (less than 10% for everything)....some times allowed Value and some did not. Nevertheless, by being a little flexible I was able to book R/T from BWI-NYP weekend for $62 per person, pretty slick IMO.

Value was always working..it's Saver that wasn't, so is it working on Saver now?

OK, I was previously having trouble with Value too (right when it started). You are correct, it does appear to affect all the Saver fares I looked at. Sorry for the confusion.
