I just want to take a moment of silence for all the folks who said "wait for black friday" over the last several months. They were right. Saved everyone a whopping $5.

LOL Facepalm
Same price as basically everywhere else, BUT

Check if you're eligible for the Amex promo. I was able to get 30% off ($50 max), which gave me a $50 discount for applying 1MR.
If you have an Amazon Prime Visa that normally gives 5% back, send yourself a gift card [amazon.com], and apply it towards this purchase with the claim code. This effectively gives you ~$7.50 back

I did both, effective price of $142.50 or $10.18/TB. Even better than Best Buy w/ recycle coupon. This deal was found under the Black Friday Deals section for PC components [amazon.com], and expires by the end of 11/26. Good luck folks!

I only got $15 off

Items: $199.99
Shipping & handling: $2.99
Free Shipping: -$2.99
Amex 15% off: -$15.00
Total before tax: $184.99
Estimated tax to be collected: $14.80
Total: $199.79

But I used $100 in points to bring it to a respectable $99 out of pocket
Rewards Points: -$100.00
Order total: $99.79

Is there an "made exclusively" badging ? Like best buy has?

I assume "made exclusively for" means cheaply made and best of luck this doesn't fail. Wink
No it's just to keep people from doing price matches

Yes. The 3.3V pin problem is also present. I removed the first wire from a SATA power cable to get the drive to work internally.
