I'm giving this a thumbs up just because the concept seems cool.

I've seen online reviews and others seem to like it. I assume it supports Google assistant?

I have two of these active in the house. Neat concept for switches and buttons that are otherwise offline or hard to reach. Work with Alexa, not sure about google assistant.

Requires the purchase of a hub in order to use with Alexa or Google. As is it's only direct Bluetooth with no other connectivity. This is the fatal flaw on these.

Yeah, somehow it seems cool, on the other hand it also seems to be inefficient to use an electric motor to switch something mechanically which could also be controlled directly via a MOSFET or triac.

I've had my eye on the auto curtains. But still too expensive imho. Gonna wait. Learned the hard way with the tp link light switches. Paid nearly $40 each when they first came out

These are great. I deployed one on a Costco bed mattress pad warmer that has a mechanical push on/off button. Triggers via IFTTT at 8:15PM every night for the wife. MUCH happiness - never a cold bed. I got big props from the wife for this solution.

I have this. Installed it on my espresso maker that has a push button switch. The espresso maker needs to be turned on 20-30 mins prior to making the coffee. This is where this device Shines. I can press a button my the app, it operates over blue tooth and turns on the coffee machine. By the time I am ready it's warmed up and ready to make coffee.

I would've preferred to not need a hub to operate it remote or through using Alexa. Oh well. It's working out for me within the house using Bluetooth and fits my needs.

I'm looking for headed mattress pad too, is there any that can be just plug into smart plug to control on/off instead of mechanical button?
