I bought this bundle a few years ago. I use the trimmer all summer to trim around trees after mowing. It works great for that. Usually, I leave it on the low setting and that is more than enough to trim things up. The blower works well to clean off the deck, driveway and sidewalk. It is okay for leaf blowing. It works but is underpowered as the leaf pile grows.

The battery is more than enough for what I use it for. If I had to guess, it probably lasts about 20 min with the blower. The charger seems to recharge the 4ah battery quickly too.

I bought the same bundle about 2 years ago. The trimmer that is included is the only DeWalt tool that doesn't seem like DeWalt quality that I have. Don't expect much out of the trimmer. It will be good if you have a small yard in the city. It doesn't have a temperature sensor so if you use one battery on it, don't put another one on when it dies, It will overheat. My trimmer ended up dying so I bought their new upgraded model. The blower still works great

Bought a DeWalt 20V XR Trimmer/Blower combo back in April for $199. Came with 4Ah battery, Blower DCBL722, Trimmer DCST922. The set I got looks a little more robust. The trimmer has a cast aluminum body above the trimmer head and also folds. As far as I can tell, the one I have and this deal both have XR MAX.

I love DeWalt, but the amount of product variants they have is...annoying/frustrating. So hard to tell If I'm getting a deal unless I've already spent hours on the forum writing down other users recommendations.

Skip the 20v yard tools, unless you have a townhouse. Otherwise, they are so weak any task will take longer than I have patience.
