The bridge is the new one. Harder to get. Had more features, etc.
The verbiage used in this post is incorrect, there isn't a Hue "hub" - only Hue Bridge exists (with three different generations). This comes with the latest bridge (3rd gen).

There is no such this as a Hue hub - the verbiage in this post is incorrect. There is only the "hub" which is what this includes (latest generation).
