I don't have this one, but I've had glass and stainless steel french presses and I greatly prefer the stainless steel. It insulates better and is more durable.
I'm trying to justify purchasing this at this price, but I don't see a need for a second french press. There seems to be enough reviews and a high rating to give it a try.
These are great. I have two that are a few years old and have held up very well. The little canister is well-made, too. It has the same heavy-duty coating as the French Press.
