Design flaws and manufacturing defects all over the place, going by what the reviews say. There's some photos that show welds that are worse than what you would find in a high school shop class. Several complaints for every model that the locking mechanism either broke off or locked in place requiring the owners to drill out the lock or cut open the box to get hundreds of dollars worth of tools out. 👎
At this price they might be okay for locking up some tools in your garage? The question is whether you'll be able to get them back out or not.

Where there is a will there is a way my friend. I would just get a latch and padlock if that started to happen to me.
It'd been working and accurate again for clearance prices for me for the past two weeks or so.
In fairness - lowes rarely knows how many of an item they have in stock so I wouldn't expect brickseek to know either - worst inventory system ever.
Impression- very cheaply made…very lightweight aluminum construction. This is not the heavy duty ones I used to see 15 years ago.
With that said, it will work great in my standard cab 89 Ram to store oil, diesel additive, tie straps, and ratchet straps. May even be able to store a long gun if I get out hunting.
Happy at $55. Would never pay over $100 for this particular model.
