Mine was delivered same day. I'm having some issues with it storing the map of my home. It keeps requesting that I re-do the first mapping. Just a warning for those looking to buy it.
Ok the robot didn't like that I was running explore remotely while I wasn't in the house. I guess the map only saves over local network.
Overall how did you like it? Were you able to map, create separate rooms, etc? I also got one, not yet opened. Also got Wyze just before this one, its decent with nice mapping and can see the robot in app while cleaning where it is and where it had been. Does Shark does that? The only downside of Wyse is not able to clean specific room, we can split the room though.
The Shark says AI navigation but is it LIDAR based? Not getting clear answer anywhere.

Pros:
* High profile so it doesn't get stuck
* Inexpensive compared to Neato
* App works very well to create rooms and clean only those rooms
* Quieter than Neato
* Washable filters
Cons:
* Robot navigation worse than Neato (seems to get lost and has had an issue docking)
* Cleaning worse than Neato
* Small dust bin
Overall, I would say that the Shark does an acceptable job cleaning but not as good as the Neato D5 botvac that I have. The mapping software does a good job of mapping each of the rooms and provides the app functionality to select specific rooms for cleaning. The cleaning speed though is slower than my Neato as it appears that the Shark has a much smaller "brush contact width" as compared to the Neato D5 which has a brush roll the width of the entire front side.

Yes, the navigation is LIDAR based but it's not like the Wyze/Neato which has a rotating "turret/tower" in the center. The LIDAR in the Shark seems to be coming out of a large rectangular sensor out of the front similar to the original iRobot vacuums. I did notice that the Shark maps much slower than the Neato due to this since the front always needs to be pointing at what it's looking at.
All in all, if I could get a Neato at the same price point of $179, I'd go for that but since it's cheaper and gets the job done, I'm satisfied. The reason I'd spring for the Neato though is that I ran the Shark and then immediately ran the Neato afterward and the Neato had dust in it which means the Shark didn't do that great of a job.

I'm gonna have to pull the trigger then return the Wyze. The Shark name is probably better as a gift too.
So don't expect to get another 20% off
