Any ideas on how to get Dell to price match? This would be truly slick with TBC 16%, plus AMEX $120 back after $599 spend. Currently full price on Dell.
EDIT: Dell will no honor any price matches until next Monday/Tuesday (Dec 6/7th)...so I took a shot on it anyway with a hope the prices stay low. Here's what I did:
Clicked through TCB for 16% back.
Paid full price ($1,199 plus 7% tax = $1,283.99) on Dell and split between my two AMEX Platinums which both had offers for $120 back after spending $599 or more.
If there is still a sale at a retailer that Dell will price match next week, I'll use Dell's 30-day Price Guarantee and ask for the difference ($400+tax) refunded in a gift card, as to try to avoid an AMEX credit clawback. Sell the gift card for 75-80% of it's value, say $300 back, gets me to $550. Will sell one of the three units for another $300-350 on Craigslist/eBay for a total out of pocket of about $200-250.
This mesh is triband and since it's got 2.4, 5 and 6 ghz there's no dedicated back haul. I.E it's going to be slower if you're not going to run Ethernet directly to each hub.

Good to know. I set 2 of them up (enough for a 2,500+ sq ft two-story house) and have ethernet running to each unit. Performance is excellent. Going to throw the third unit on eBay as it's overkill for my environment.

Altogether, I spent $1,283.99 - $120 - $120 - $191.99 = $852
