Yeah, like if you popped that rubber cap on the top off and there was a 1/4" tripod mount on there! That would be crazy!

This would be cool if the top of the handle was a tripod mount

It has a standard 1/4" thread on top if that's what you mean?

I just ordered one as a gift for my spouse. I've been looking for an affordable mono-pod to see if it'll be and easier but sufficient replacement to out large and heavy tri-pod. She shoots mostly birds with a Sigma 150-600 lens which is super heavy. We go out with a tripod with a gimble mount and that's just too much to always carry. This should fit into backpack and help ensure she can stay longer trying to capture the perfect shot.

She already has a peak design strap ({previous slick deal) so the bonus of a wrist strap is nice. I may use it to strap the camera and lens together in case they come detached from each other when on strap.

Forgive me for being naive, but, how do I stand it up on the floor with no legs?

Anyone have this that can comment on how stable it is if completely extended?

Your hands and feet. It's not intended to stand alone.

Looks to be a decent monopod. I love the Peak Design strap system and can always use another Cuff strap. Great deal!

Thank you! Most YouTube reviews and amazon shows a leg attachment.
