If you have space for it, I recommend getting a 36" with 4 burners and a lid.
Get the 36 if thats what you really want.

I missed the last few deals on these. I went ahead and bought it as there are only 3 of us my household. So should be plenty big enough for our needs.

Is this just "fancier" the ones that were $99?

I believe the $99 ones were adventure ready and were intended to be mobile outdoor cooking set-ups you can use at a remote camp site. These are more for backyards.

22" seems small for the price.

This is not the one they sell for 274.00 it's 28 inches! This is a ripoff! 22 inches should sell less than the 28 that sell for 274.

I bought the $99 last year, which was 22 inches also, and it has been fantastic for my family of 3. Love it!!!

I have the 36in, it's awesome. However, it is huge and heavy, somewhat difficult to move around and transport. There are times that a smaller griddle would be more convenient. However, if you are grilling for large groups, and transporting the beast isn't an issue, I'd go 36in.
