Ram is soldered so can't be upgraded.

Here's the review of swift 3 https://www.digitweek.com/acer-sw...yy-review/

Same Swift 3 was sold at Walmart for $499, with processor being the only difference. It had Intel i5 11th generation processor.

When you see LPDDR, it is always going to be soldered. This is one of the drawback of the model available in USA. In other regions, Acer actually sells this model with 16GB option but in USA, that model is not available and same was true for the last generation of this laptop.
