Anyone try this version for bigger TVs? I have seen the other version for smaller TVs and it has a lot of good reviews.

Just got one to mess with.
With promotion and $10 off came out to be $77.99.
If it is not good, will return.
Delivery is not until Dec. 2 -10th.

Had the smaller version for a week, returned. I found the backlight distracting while watching tv, though decorative otherwise.

Not at all, you wouldn't notice it. And it can be installed at the bottom (facing up) as well, if you prefer.

I have this on my 85 QN90a love it. Had the smaller version on my 65inch before. You can dial in intensity and brightness. Its not distracting at all for me. You can look for ND filter to tweak it even more. I just tell google to turn on TV light and boom. It's awesome.
Btw you can have the cam just laying in front of your tv. Mine is laying behind the soundbar so no one sees the camera at all. Installation is easy as it gets. App works flawless.

I just got this at full price to put on my LG up8770 86" tv and it's fantastic!

It is a bit tricky to setup and if u have nearby lighting it WILL throw off the colors. The darker the area its in the better.

It's not perfect but it's damn close. Took me a few days of calibration and watching alot of YouTube videos on how to set it up correctly and get the most of it. It's definitely not just plug and play it takes some fiddling around for sure. Patience is rewarded tho
