It's not really a good deal when you consider why GPU prices remain inflated. Actual retail for a 3090 is around $1,500 Things should come down quite a bit once Eth finally goes PoS.
If your livelihood relies on a powerful GPU for video editing/rendering and the like, and you really need a rig like this then it's more justifiable. But if your reason for getting it is more along the lines of "I just wanted a new gaming rig" then you've unfortunately chosen a bad time to purchase that upgrade.
3090 is probably the only 3xxx series without LHR.
However, which manufacturer of 3090? Do different manufacturers have very different quality?
