This has a photoelectric smoke sensor and electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, which is the preferred combo of sensors.

Actually you are right. My bad. Sorry. I remember now that the yellow wire is not used by Nest. I have changed all but 1 in my house with Nest and they are intercomnnected with each other, but not with the non-Nest.
