Haven't seen this posted yet. Got an email from one of my regular go-to's for purchasing printer filament (I like it from here cause it's sourced and made in the USA).

Here's their promotion:
  • $100+ = 15% off
  • $100-$200 = 20% off
  • $200+ = 25% off

Anyway, I purchased 2x 5lb 1.75mm spools ($60.99 /ea) (2.37kg, aka, 2 1/3 "regular" sized spools), plus 2x "mystery" color 5lb 1.75mm spools ($43.00 /ea), which brought my subtotal to $209.96.

The discount gets automatically applied today only, which lopped off $52.49, making my total for 20lbs of filament $157.47.

Typical mid-low quality oversea brands on Amazon are $18-$19 per 1000g spool. Purchasing 9 of those at $19 a piece would be roughly ~$172. This is the equivalent to a very high-quality brand being $17 and change per 1000g spool.

Anyway, sorry for all the math. I can recommend the "Ocean blue" filament; It's gorgeous.

To be clear, I purchased PLA. The discount applies to all filament types, and the total may be slightly higher for higher quality types of filament (PETG, etc) but the savings is still stupid good comparatively.

SUNLU (JAYO) currently has 10kg for $100. That's really hard to beat when it works quite well for me.

There are many brands selling individually for ~$16 on Amazon, including Polymaker (I've heard nothing but good about them).

I used to buy the two kg pack of SUNLU PETG off Amazon when they where marked down to $20. I just picked up the Slickdeals ten kg pack for $100. I've always been happy with SUNLU, and it's hard to beat $10/kg. I understand those who want to pay for for "made in the USA", but I'll take the cheaper stuff that still prints just fine.

Pricing wise, the 25% off deal works out to $160 for 15 lbs of PETG, or $23/kg. Maybe a good deal if you're set on this brand, but PETG is usually in this range everyday on Amazon.

Their black friday deals are still up but none of those codes are working lol, chat unresponsive. I usually get my 10kg deals from GST3D, BF deal currently being shipped, but was willing to try Sunlu for alternative colors. Next time I guess.

I've been using GST 3d with good results so far. It's around $89 for 10kg/22lbs.. It's been less.

Where does COEX say made in America? I couldn't find it. I prefer made in USA but I'm not sure about almost 2x the price.

Not a deal much for me.
You can get 10kg/22lbs PLA+ deals at IIIdmax.com or gst3d.us. Sign up for their newsletter. They will send you offer like $79.99 or $89.99 for 10k/22lbs occasionally. They are cheapest AFAIK in term of buying PLA. Bookmark them.
Quality is alright depending on colors you choose, but hit and miss on certain colors.

When I looked, it was a part of their banner. Wisconsin Area code for the phone. Did some digging too and they do a tour of the process and the factory in this video.

I too have had good luck with GST3D, which I think I will use for my basic colors. However Coex has a ton of beautiful colors that they just don't have.
