Use TEX10 for 10% off.

These are mechanical keyboards the were designed to follow the legendary IBM thinkpad keyboards of yore. The designers at TEX supposedly also worked with yamato lab (the Japanese design lab that created the thinkpad line) to get the original trackpoint.

I've never seen a promotion on these... so I think it's a deal.

Bluetooth module is a separate buy but it doesn't look like it's available at the moment.

Priced for cherry red switches
availability vary by switch types

Other promotions [mechanicalkeyboards.com] for other brands are also available.

If ordering from TEX directly, you could also opt for a DIY kit to fully customize the switches. I just noticed that they now have a hot-swappable option under PCB, which is exciting for those who care.

Never heard of TEX, but they're confusing ASCII keyboards with ANSI keyboards. LOL.

Not a troll but a real question: what's an ASCII keyboard? I've heard of ISO vs ANSI, but not ASCII.

In any case, the TEX shinobi layout is meant to follow closely the last generation of classic Thinkpad layouts circa 2011 (e.g., X220) before moving to an chiclet / island style circa 2012. Notice the enlarged ESC and DELETE key and the locations of the PgUp / PgDn.

here are some pictures [xahlee.info].

I remember when X230 came out, some people would order X220 keyboard and swap out the X230 keyboards.

Nice keyboards if you love the original 7-row ThinkPad layout. I've tried my friend's Tex Yoda in a different layout years ago and it was great! Personally, I'm more interested in the IBM Model M13, though.
