I just did it with the app. I couldn't get the website to show the apple pay logo sadly (for a particular cash back site that rhymes with Rasputin), even on mobile browser. it's kinda like Paypal promo. It'll get deducted at the point of sale in Apple Pay. So if your cart is $150, Apple Pay will ask to approve $125.
your receipt will show the $25 split up over every individual item such that there is an individualized return value.
It's not everyday where there's a deal on something you spend anyway. You either have to stock up on something (i.e. buy 3 from this category to get a $10 gift card) or maybe you spring for something you otherwise would not have bought due to the price (i.e. all the airpods pro sales recently). But I spend $150 at BJ's every other week. This post legit just puts $25 back in my pocket. That is pretty cool, and a very well deserved thumbs up and rep!

The terms exclude gift cards.
It's limit one per member, but it might work using the secondary household member and their account. I'll be trying it out later this week.
(you can double dip coupons with the two member accounts, so I figure it'll work the same with apple pay promo)
