The referral credit was doubled from $30 to $60 for new activations. The referrer still gets $30. Really great deal for new Oculus activations.

Please do not post your referral link or ask people to PM you as it is banned on SD.

To the SD moderators: I am not sure if this is even allowed, apologies in advance if it isn't!

I believe that as long as you use a link before you activate the quest then you are okay.

You would need to use a referral link prior to setting up the oculus account, I believe. My guess is you should be able to get it still at this point, since you didn't open it and you likely didn't set it up. I think the bonus credit is sent 30 days after you set up the account, but I could be wrong.

So Oculus has had a referral promo set up that when someone signs up through a friend or family member's referral link...they'll get $30 in free credit to use on games and apps on the Oculus Store.
30 days later, the person who provided the referral link would then also get $30 in credit.

It's a fantastic deal!

But today I was just checking my referral link...and they've updated the promo!
Until 12/06/21 the person signing up will get $60 instead of the $30!! The person who provided the link will still only get the $30 though.

But it's a fantastic deal! $30 was already awesome to start out with...but $60 is just amazing!!

Usually, if you refer someone to buy an Oculus Quest 2, you will receive a $30 credit and so will the person who you referred. Oculus is running a promotion from 11/30/2021 through 12/06/2021. During this time, you as the referrer will receive the same $30, but the person you referred will earn a $60 credit.

Not as slick as the BF to Cyber Monday deal but those are mostly gone now. Oculus bumped the new Quest 2 activation referral credit from $30 to $60 now through 12/6.
