20-80 pounds and only upgradeable to 120 lbs? I don't see how it would be useful. The 1090 dumbbells go up to 90 pounds each, why would this max out at 120?
I lifted for many years and got really strong. An 80lb max curl bar with room to expand to 120lb is enough for 99.9% of folks.
To me, this can't be taken serious as a barbell and I don't think they should have marketed that as a quality.

If you're a meat head probably not for you. I love this thing. I get through workouts quick. I suggest the stand and the upgraded weights.
Thanks op now I can try to get best buy to price match
Thanks for the post OP, this is a great deal! I jumped on the previous one and I tried to price match with customer service but they weren't able to do it since my package is arriving tomorrow.
But I'm happy that there was a deal to be had, best of luck to anyone that price matches this and jumps on this deal!

Same. Definitely not a meathead but a novice (with enough consistency) can get to bodyweight barbell squats in no time. The max here means it's hard to push yourself on squats.

Tips on getting this? Chat copied and pasted their price match policy and stated they don't match themselves…only other retailers

Target price matched it for me
I just chatted and gave him my order no# he checked price and offered price match. As it's sold by Walmart. He gave $25 credit even without asking
