The terms & conditions doesn't mention gift cards are excluded/included.... typically with AMEX offers that don't mention it, does this mean I can buy a $250 GC and get the deal?

Their Payboo card is tax free, discounted instantly as well, makes this deal just 1% off for NYC, or even worse considering you have to wait for the credit back.
