I picked up two of these in October when they were $13, and very pleased with them. They replaced 300 watt incandescent bulbs and are comparable in lumens (5000 vs 5870).

Looking for two more and found these same ones for a few dollars more.

If just need a bit more lighting, may be twin light socket adapter $2.87 is good enough for some people.

And saw some 2500 Lumens standard LED light blue for $3 to $5 each on Amazon. Or lower watt one if that's enough for you, etc.
Very good deal. Picked up Costco garage light at twice this price (30 in store) but it has higher lumens at 8000 -

Just a reminder to watch wattage if you're also looking for energy efficiency too. These especially some of the cheaper ones can use a surprising amount of wattage. Of course if you're just looking for pure brightness, ignore my comment.

Have seen a pair of them just a wee bit cheaper, I believe, but this is pretty close. Don't need, but nice price. Repped.

Thanks OP. Grabbed one. I definitely could use some better lighting in our garage. This may be a good 'holdover' solution until we put something more permanent in.

I've seen reviews that the cheaper ones burn out often due to poor cooling for the LEDs, I picked mine up at Costco as well for the guarantee.

Would this be good as a grow light for plants?

I like these lights for the function. I have the one from Costco and Sams Club. I use the Costco ones (pack of 2) in the attic. The Costco lights are VERY bright in the attic (like a glowing spaceship-bright white 5000k and 8000 lumen) but very functional since I can angle the panels to three different areas. I also replaced the bulb on the garage opener. My opener did not like LED bulbs and the Costco one did not work either. However the one at Sams Club worked and it came with the extender needed due to the angle of the socket. HTTPS://www.samsclub.com/p/5000l-..._product_5. It is not the best looking solution but it is now bright when I open the garage and prior to the garage motion lights.

They would be ok as grow lights. If it's a supplemental light, probably a good option. If you're looking to use these to grow a plant from seed all the way to fruit/flower, this is not enough.
