Saw this last night while looking for the flashlight deals...comes in a big box and is kind of weighty but seems to get decant reviews...one says it works best for it assigned task of connecting to the underside of a car's hood for added illumination...At 50% off its a tempting deal...Seems like a nationwide sale

I have this. Don't be fooled by their title. The battery is not included. It uses their power tool batteries.

$149 in my area but then again why would anyone spend $75 for this minus battery and charger when they can get a camping lantern that's a lot brighter and a lot cheaper.

Right! Plus, camping lanterns don't typically use proprietary batteries, which seems to be the new business model for all garage tools. But people keep buying into this scam and supporting it.

It wouldn't make a very good camping lantern. It's designed to clamp onto either side of a car hood for doing repairs in low light conditions. It's actually bright as hell. For anyone already invested in the Craftsman V20 system, it's a decent tool at this price.
