The Supergoose is chrome-molly just like the original, these are retro and not supposed to be modern aluminum bikes. My kids race bike is mostly carbon fiber, if modern what you are looking for this probably isn't it .
Those that are saying it's not aluminum, etc, this is a Old School remake for those that missed the opportunity as a kid to own one. It is period correct material for this bike. It will sell out soon. I think they limited to 500 units for each color. It's not a slickdeal in term of pricing, unless you have a time machine to buy a new one 40 years ago, this is the next best option. .
