3500 lumens at 5000K is in the Geneva Conventions as cruel and unusual. I'll probably install this in my son's room for when he has a girl over.
Time will tell but it does appear to be an American company, Based in Boston, Savant Systems, Inc.

Funny. Back in the day my dad used to ask them if they wanted a cup of coffee on the way out...

GE sold their light division. Not sure if the quality will go up or down in this highly competive area.

I recall the plastic housings on these things were a concern, for durability. The better ones had a metal housing, for heat dissipation?

For $13, what do you expect? My issues is my garage doesn't have bulb sockets, but outlets for hanging lights instead. They do make adapters.

It may work in the garage, but 5000K is kinda ghastly for indoor lighting.

I got the two pack of whatever brand at Costco for $30 and they're supposed to be 8000 lm, and I'd say, compared to my other LED lights in the garage, they're at least 6500lm.

Did you check out the other Walmart deal for a 2 pack of LED shop lights for like $14?

Does "Suitable for damp locations " mean outside use in the rain as well? Anyone using them outside?

Thanks.
