It's a solid board. I don't know what people are doing to cause theirs to fail so quickly. Just remember they're reds. So there isn't going to be a satisfying click or anything. The keys feel pretty "mushy." But some of us actually like that - especially for gaming.
Note: I am not a keyboard enthusiast and the G610 was my first mechanical one ever (so I'm probably biased). I also own a G710+ (definitely better for typing), G810 (I don't like Romer-Gs now, don't feel that great and the ctrl keycap snapped off after a year), EVGA Z15 w/ Bronze Kaihl (satisfying budget board - regularly on sale - for typing), and will soon try the Z15 w/ Silver Kaihl.

If you don't care about the keyboard being mechanical, here's another similar quality kb + 3200 dpi mouse w/RGB but is wireless: https://www.amazon.com/NPET-K11-R...th=1&psc=1
They have that version without a mouse for $24 with coupon ^

Thank you for the response. He definitely wants a keyboard with the rainbow effect of colors and not just one that has a single or a few single color options. Also, he wants it for streaming any plays a lot of Roblox which requires a lot of tapping and clicking, so I feel that the mechanical keyboards would provide too much sound and interfere with the streaming.
Mechanical keyboards are better quality than membrane for gaming
