As someone trying to help my brother find one for his daughter, they are not readily available, at least when you cycle through the store apps. I ended up getting him a bundle from Costco that wasn't great, but at least not terrible. Target, Best Buy, Costco, and sams club are all sold out

This is not really much of a deal at this point. Switches are widely available, it's pretty much right about retail and the switch's replacement is becoming more available and only costs slightly more.

Perhaps they're currently hard to find for the holidays but I wouldn't call this a deal unless you really need one by Christmas.

It'd be nice to see a steeper discount on the non OLED. Then again probably won't bite until they have a worthwhile upgrade.

Agreed I've been trying to find the OLED version or Mario Kart version for a month now with no luck, except for a jacked up third party seller price. I snagged this in case I cant find what I really want by Christmas.

Yeah bunch of stuff I dont need, Pokemon Game, headset, Sd Card. I'm not that desperate yet, but I appreciate the heads up.
