This is a good deal if you use a 5% CB card and they have some good GC that you want. They used to let you by visa GCs but they seemed to have changed the rules.

I like to get gas cards or Netflix cards and prepay it for almost a year (they had a buy $100 get $20 back promo last week).

I got Airbnb for Black Friday deal and also the Darden cards that include Olive Garden as my in-laws love that place so we always give them as gifts. They also work for Seasons 52 which is really good so we use them too.

Check your receipt before you leave. Last week my store didn't have the coupon printed on the receipt. The manager handwrote a redemption code which worked yesterday.

I had a similar problem. Like the person above said, go to CS. They will give you a code (assuming the purchase shows in their system)

My local Shoprite is cash or debit only for GC purchases. Funnily enough the Stop & shop across the street has no issues with credit cards for GC purchases.

I may be wrong but I assume that since the ad says "select" gift cards, the deal only applies to the ones pictured. In past years, I've bought $100 Netflix gc's for a $20 credit but I seem to remember that the ads said "any" gift card with one or two exclusions

the ad lists exclusions, so i would think anything except the exclusions would apply

it's a big hassle if the coupon is not printed out on the receipt. It happened to me with the thanksgiving promotion. The customer lady was nice but the store manager was terrible. I ended up without getting $20 coupon and left. would never go back to that store!!
