Yes, but this doesn't actually include the charger - looks like it just supports passthrough from an actual charger.

It does not. You need to provide your own. Basically you'd connect your laptops charger to this and it would pass the power through. Or buy a 100W USB-C power brick and cable to connect to this. Then you simply leave this at your desk. When you plug in the single cable you get charging, monitors connected, hard drives, and ethernet, all from a single cable.

Sure there are many cheaper ones out there. This requires Display Port and it only supports one monitor.

This one supports full 4k @ 60hz for example for only $17.
