After buying a Christmas Building Blocks set I got a code for 50% off this Ambulance set at General Jims Toys. Seems to be more than one time use as me and my sister both got it for the kids. It's on Walmart and Amazon still for $24.99. FREE Shipping.
Use coupon code 50OFF at checkout. Seems to only work on the ambulance. But the Xmas house is still 50% off in front page of site too.
My kids don't need polo or name brand junk either. Building blocks are building blocks. And the Xmas house is AMAZING We've already built it. And at 70% less than Lego would have sold for.
Do you know who was the manufacturer of the bricks for the Winter Wonderland set (the XMAS house)?
Please don't put the "L" word into posts for Chinese "compatible" blocks.
I'm sure there are lots of "compatible" designer fashions, handbags, perfumes, etc you can buy at the flea markets and coming off of containers from China. The ones fraudulently labeled as a "real" product are luckily confiscated, though some get through. Sold on street corners and discount shops. But these "construction toy' knock-offs that get promoted here on SD all the time are just junk and noise. Sure they can be found. And maybe are legal (except maybe the ones that are block-for-block clones of "L" designs.) But they are noise I don't need. I'm sure I'll get some down-votes for this. The same people that always talk about HF tools as why pay more when this crap works most of the time and is way cheaper, dude!

If the blocks are only going to be played with and never resold, then I can see the point of buying non-Lego bricks. However, I've taught me 8-year-old that Lego sets can be resold after he's done with them, so he can buy more sets than he otherwise might be able to. You can't do that with knock-off blocks.
Another issue I have with knock-offs is that they are potentially made using slave labor. I know a lot of products obviously are made with slave labor, but the less the better. And to my knowledge, Lego has never been caught using slave labor.

Yeah, actually I bought some well-sorted Lego pieces from my friend's teenage son who had "outgrown" them. They weren't intact to be sold as "sets" but the pieces were all legitimate and organized in bags by type and color, so pretty good. Actually was glad to give him some spending money. But anything with the "other" blocks mixed in becomes immediately pretty much worthless. Even Mega-Blocks (now Mega Construx) which were a semi-good brand, I have some, but I have to be careful never to mix them.
I have no problem with people posting "construction toy" or "building block toy" items. Just that "L" word triggers probably thousands of people's "L" Deal Alerts. And most of us will respond with anger and a quick TD.
Also "L" never does anything with military themes or "Earth" guns. They will do weapons and combat vehicles/aircraft for the fantasy / sci-fi themes or where needed by the movie tie-in (Star Wars, Indiana Jones.)

They aren't knock offs though. Lego doesn't make military bricks. So comparing to truly trademarked handbags and fake one etc isn't the same. Lego doesn't make these sets nor do they have a patent on bricks. They are soooo many brick toy companies out there. So they aren't confiscated apparently because they aren't counterfeit or "fake". The website doesn't claim they are lego.
But IF you have lego towns etc like we do they ARE compatible and we've found them to be good sets. It's just like saying a bike part is compatible with certain brand bikes. Or a phone charge is compatible with an Apple phone.

General Jims Toys is what the package says. I think it's rebranded from China I'm sure
. But it's a HUGE cool set.

Thanks. Did the instructions say Mould King 16011 on them?
