On the Verizon iPhone 12, when select 256GB and the "Full Retail Price", the promotion shows to "Save $599.99. Online only. Plus up to $1000 when you switch. "

So if you have AT&T and are looking to switch, you can buy a new AT&T phone and switch to Verizon to take advantage of the $599.99 and the $1000 rebate from verizon.

You ever done one of the $1k switch promos?
Once done with TMobile best buy iPhone 12 to 13 upgrades on Wed...-
i can load up my 4 TMO lines with $1k iphones, wait for bill to cut on the 15th, and all $4k will be VZW paid...?
+$2400 in iPhone 12 credits over 24 months
Can't firmly make out if military discount would interfere with any of these incentives, doesn't seem like it.
Certainly seems Start Unlimited is also fine.

No way,it certainly breaks down the credits over 24 months during checkout. Good luck getting the payments to show up, if you choose the full payment option!

This is an interesting promo. I haven't seen this type of Verizon promo before. It does look like you can qualify for the $600 in bill credits over 24 months even if you choose to pay it in full. Promo appears to be available for the iPhone 12 and 12 mini. Here are the terms:

"5G Ultra Wideband available only in parts of select cities. 5G Nationwide available in 2,700+ cities. $699.99 purchase on device payment or at retail price required. New line required. Less $599.99 promo credit applied to account over 24 or 30 mos; promo credit ends if eligibility requirements are no longer met; 0% APR. Any Unlimited Taxes & fees may apply."

For what it's worth I did a full retail payment checkout all the way to the final submission page and the $600 bill credit promotion did show up.

Sure, you pay the device off-up front & they ensure you stick around for 24 months. Depends on how you like your apples cut.
You able to comment on my prior post if you're seeing anything that would prevent my "greedy" situation-
Bundle up $5K ($1K/line) in TMO device payments
Instantly take that to VZW & get the $1K payments?
+Military discount seems like it'd stack as it's a credit vs promo.

I don't disagree. I'm not sure what the criterias are to keep the bill credits active. Otherwise an idea is potentially you can choose to pay it in full to keep the line device payment free and qualify for other promotions that generally require a DPP. Again have no clue if the bill credits would stack in that scenario either.

I don't see any issues in taking advantage of the switch promo by starting new service and purchasing a new device on installment with another provider. In fact I've posted about that before but I've never tried it myself.

Also I don't see the military discount being a concern.

You're more greedy & concerned on raking in on the DPPs than I am on claiming the giant $5K baggage, having the wife rake thru it & past that-here I go I guess! If I can get my hands on enough $1K devices locally, that is-TMO.com is backordered on everything...

Thanks for chatting with ya & bouncing these thoughts off of one another.
Seems we're at this deal solo so hopefully it stays active for both or all 3 (including silent OP) of us to enjoyyyy!

Wondering what are the terms for $1k switch credit to pay off your previous provider. Say I have TMO and get iPhone 13 Pro on DPP. A week later switch over to Verizon , will Verizon pay $1k towards final bill pay ? I believe at that point TMO should unlock the phone rt , so I will have unlocked phone with Verizon ?
I understand as part of terms I need to be with Verizon otherwise they might charge back $1k.

If you're doing the Iphone 12 promo, I went just a few days ago and got 5 lines to have as close as $1K each, as possible, of Iphones.
One thing to note is there's odd terms about the Iphone 12 being the device in this case? needing to be activated for 30 days to meet the $1K payoff terms.
"device must remain activated for 30 consecutive days"
Oh, and you're on the hook for paying the $1K out of pocket & the $1K comes back in form of prepaid card-if that matters to you. Everything seems legit with the $1K otherwise, just ensure you follow the terms to the point & take a copy of them!

P.S.-Use SD cashback extension for $125. Just ensure it says you're locked in for that credit, mine didn't for awhile-had to fiddle with clearing Chrome

You have WAY less to lose then me then!
It's in the Less than $4/mo. Online only. Plus up to $1000 when you switch. "See details." link on the product page.
The wife assumed it to mean the Iphone 12 they're giving you for $100-after 24/30 months of DPPs (you choose) MUST stay activated for 30 days-assuming they don't want you flipping it. It's especially a GIANT risk for us to take on, if you try to call their bluff & see if they're truly checking that timestamp.
Just such a weird high value promo overall to just let you accumulate $10K of phones today & get them to pay them all off-tomorrow. I'm sure that's a deterrent for 99%-in & of itself though.
Especially vzw.com promos vs the physical stores, they TRULY have complete diddly for promos!
Even TMobile has like an approved device payoff list vs we'll take your bills you racked up & pay you off with up to $1K/line in prepaid cards.

ohhh I see, I thought the promo means you must have your phone in service for 30 days before you port over, since I just financed the phones with my old carrier I thought I have to wait 30 days before I port over, glad it meant after porting over and stays on verizon for 30 day!
