SE is the watch to get for 99% of us. I had a S6 and returned it, not big on the ECG/pulse oximeter capabilities. I have a pulse oximeter already. S7 doesn't add any value over the S6. Get an SE and a braided solo loop for maximum comfort.
Mine shipped from Nike and fedex delivered it yesterday ahead of schedule, however the driver neglected to obtain a signature upon delivery and left it on my porch where, according to my security camera, it was subsequently stolen by someone tailing the fedex truck. Claim to follow. Hope you all have better luck.

The big benefits of the S6/S7 over the SE are for activities such as running, in my opinion. The HR/GPS sensors seem to be better according to testers, and the always-on display is much more essential during some activities. Those features are crucial for many runners (who don't want a Garmin or other dedicated outdoor device).
Personally, I went with a used S6 which was cheaper than a new SE because I still didn't want to splurge for the S7.

I use the heart rate sensor for working out daily on the SE, various activities, and find a proper fitting band is the most important thing. I've grown to like the solo loops.
No difference between S6 and SE, generally 99.9% accurate heart rate coverage. The always on display pulls way too much battery, and I turned it off after a couple days, before returning the watch around 30 days to Best Buy.

That appears to be false about the HR sensor. Apple themselves claim a third-generation HR sensor on the S6, and real-world tests have backed this up with noticeably better performance on the S6/S7 compared to the SE/S5/etc. The same seems to be true for GPS on the SE, although there's a possibility that the latter is just a software issue that could have been fixed with updates.
Also, the always-on display doesn't matter much for some people, but having it during interval training or some other activity modes is essential IMO. I've been spoiled by my current smartwatch (and having grown up with traditional watches) to just expect it the rest of the day as well, but I'm sure others may not mind as much.
If the SE works for you, that's fantastic, and I naturally support saving the extra cash. I just expect it would be more than 1% of users who'd care about the differences, so it's worth mentioning them.
