Great find, great deal, thanks. Ordered. Here's hoping these are comfy for my super flat feet!
So far I've tried:
Triumph>Guide/Ride>Liberty>Cohesion
From best to worst. Triumph's were the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. Too bad they are so spendy, and rarely go on sale.
Still to try: Hurricane, Omni, and Asic Gel Kayano
The search for reasonably priced trainers for flat feet continues...
(and yes, I have tried inserts - it's not a great solution but it does make a bad shoe for my feet, better).
I have flat feet as well and can agree about the Triumph. Also, for whatever reason, I love the Nike Free RN Flyknit 2018. They wouldn't be the best if you're looking for all day cushion on cement or something like that but they seem to work really well for my daily driver.
Have you tried the Kinvara. Best fitting and most comfortable (for my feet) of brands I've tried.
No, but those are on the list if I can find a decent deal (not sure I have ever seen those drop below $70?)
Already got the ones I ordered in this deal and unfortunately they feel very much like the Liberty - i.e. little to no arch support. These are not quite that "bad" (again, relative to my particular feet), but close. They are also the most fragile looking of all the Saucony's I have bought - I doubt these will last very long at all - soooo much fabric! Can't imagine these would last more than a few months if I was an actual runner and used them for that.
My newly updated rankings for NRWFFTLS'ers (Non-Runners with Flat Feet That Like Saucony)
Triumph>Guide/Ride>Freedom>Liberty>Cohesion
Edit: I see a few Kinvara deals for men's under $70, but they are...hideous (makes sense that they put the ugliest ones on sale of course).
Also, before someone gets bent out of shape, yes, I am aware that these are RUNNING shoes and designed as such, and that I am not using them in the manner for which they were created. Still, I blame Saucony for putting me on this path since they made Triumphs, a shoe that made sweet, passionate love to my feet every time I wore them.
For all I know, the current model Triumphs could be very different than the ones that wooed me a few years back. I assume they change the footbed, materials, etc. after a few model year runs.
