KAI Personal Steak / Gentleman's Knife, Manual Folding Japanese Pocketknife with Leather Sheath 2-Pack for $35 $35.01

The price for one is $35.20, so for $0.19 less, you get two! Kinda feels like a pr*ce m*stake, but I won't call it that because I don't want to unleash the hater hounds. This is currently on sale at the Shun/KAI Warehouse Sale for $25 (https://housewares.kaiusa.com/per...e-ol.html) but that's potentially blemished, no warranty, no returns, and $7.50 more per knife.

This isn't quite as nice as the Shun Higo No-Kami, but that retails for $100. At $17.50 per knife, this is a solid stucking stuffer for any knife enthusiast or steak lover in your life and you can keep the other one for yourself!

I think that's a New York issue not an Amazon issue.

No, it's a New York issue because people don't use them for steak. Get it?

i have some decent cutlery knives (some shun) and some decent folding knives, but i have never seen a 'personal steak knife'... is this a thing? like people just go around with their steak knife in holster in the event they get accosted by an unruly porterhouse in the streets?

i have a hard time saying no to more knives, but this one is new to me

I almost jumped on this, but the Chinese manufacturing isn't the same caliber as Japanese and the reviews show it.

I have the CEO with the flipper (not thumb stud). Great small knife I do not have the shun/kai knife yet but I did order it. The CEO to me is more of a pocket knife for utility use (non food). The Kai I will use strictly as a steak knife and for food in general. Will mostly use it for when I go to my girlfriend's family's house for dinner as they have no sharp/quality knives in sight.

Ever been to an in-law's house who has no steak knives and server dinner with butter knives? That's my use case.
