I'm sure there's something I don't understand about the hardware, but I don't get why they would make a router that doesn't support AIMesh. I probably would've bought this and connected with my RT-AC87U.

Gigabit port only, not even LAG, thank you, next! IF you're on Xfinity's gig plan you'll see 1.3Gbps, did a test today.
