Received mine but have not yet installed it. Seems pretty solid. The extra hooks I ordered are much better than expected. Well built and about 7.5 inches long.

Does clearance suggest they might be discontinuing the system or other? Would hate to buy into the system and then not be able to expand later.

Any other comparable systems someone might recommend? Are the price point similar or is this considered cheap/low? Thanks!

you can buy the rubbermaid,, husky, kobalt, gladiator kits, but i've got a long wall, 2 of the 18 piece for 100 bucks gets me 24 feet of rail to do 2 rows or one long and bunch of various types of hooks. i'd be at least twice that in those and some of those you have to buy the trimmer,etc hook separate, i didn't find a really complete kit without spending gobs of time on in those brands, they want you to make a hobby of buying starter track then building it out. aint got time for that crap

I'd just get some wood stain or paint it, then buy the hooks off amazon (but you'd be better to shop around as spot check of those , the round trimmer storage hooks was 20$+ alone. French cleat with generic hooks is good way to go too i've built those at last place but time is short.

Looks just like rebranded Richelieu, and few other generic brands on amazon. probably same..

Don't get me wrong....those other kits are nice, rubber covers, composite track, locking hooks but time consuming to look through, piece out. this is click buy done.
