Bought these and returned. Anyone calling them phenomenal hasn't tried another headset.
They're decent for the price. Don't expect some amazing value out of these. I'd go as far as to say these aren't even worth more than $75.
I have to disagree.
The reason why people love these is the feature set and build quality. Being able to have dual audio with bluetooth + Xbox is a nice feature. They also borrow the intuitive volume controls from the Surface headphones (rotate dials for more/less ANC, more/less volume).
These are good if you're not an audiophile. My gripe with them is that the microphone picks up a lot of background noise. Sound is decent, and can be adjusted with an equalizer on the Xbox. Also, being Bluetooth, you can use for phone and pc. My favorite feature is the volume control dials.

Oh yeah, build quality is great.
But they're pretty uncomfortable and sound like a muddy mess.
I'm not buying headphones to look at them. you can add all the gimmicks you want but if they sound bad, who cares
