Just be mindful after opening it up, this stuff likes to dry out in the can once opened, when ever I use it I close the lid, make sure it is sealed, then flip the can upside down so it creates a liquid seal from the inside, helps keep the paint stay fresh longer.

If you don't think you'll use it in one shot you're better off buying pints or quarts. Good advice from Eric ^^^ as well. Only thing I'd add is the saran wrap trick seems to help too. I've learned its cheaper in the end for my projects to buy smaller containers.

Also worth looking into KBS coatings. iirc the story goes the guy who formulated POR15 separated from teh company and went off to start KBS.

The best way I've found to use it is number one buy quarts. When you want to use it turn it upside down and punch a small hole in it, pour out what you need and then wipe the hole clean and seal with RTV sealer. Leave it stored upside down. When you need it again punch a new hole and seal the same way. I've been able to use the same can for years with this method. Just used out of a can of grey POR15 last week that I sealed like this over 7 years ago. It was thick but I was still able to use it. I usually store an open can like this for 2 - 3 years and it is like the first day I opened it.
