Steps
1. New or expired user.
2. Subscribe for monthly personal 365 account. $6.99 upfront.
3. Sign in to verify the account was activated on any office desktop app.
4. Go to subscriptions on your office 365 online account and cancel.
5. YMMV offer at this point to extend for 2 months at no charge
6. Cancel recurring billing

I was able to use this retention offer today. I signed up and paid $6.99+tax on 12/26 and was charged on 12/27. Immediately after sign-up, I started the cancellation flow and did not see a retention offer. I tried again today, and did not see an offer with my adblocker on. After turning off uBlock Origin for Microsoft.com, and clicking on Cancel Subscription on https://account.microso

They actually added 62 days to the subscription, as I see my next charge will be on 3/30/2022. I was able to immediately turn off recurring billing on the same account page.
