Can I presume this device is listening in like Alexa does? Serious question. I don't have al lot of "tech knowledge", but I've seen many reports of Amazon employees listening in through the Alexa device.

It's always listening. Otherwise, how's it gonna know when you say "Hey Google!" But I don't know if it stores things for employees to review but don't think so. You still have a physical button to turn on, off the mic.
Some similarities but not the same.
The Anchor set has 3 Quart Bake Dish (12 cups). The Pyrex does not. The largest Pyrex rectangular from the Walmart link is only 6 cups.
The picture alone should have clued you in that the Anchor has some larger bowls then the Pyrex from Walmart.
I looked up Anchor Hocking and this came up "Barbara Trojanowski says she only uses metal pans after her glass baking dish shattered while it was sitting on top of a heated oven. Barbara Trojanowski "All of a sudden I heard a bang, I felt it hit the back of my leg. The blood was pouring out all over the place."
Barbara's Achilles tendon was severed. After surgery, she can walk, but doubts she'll be able to golf or dance again. Consumer Reports has analyzed 145 new reports of glassware shattering after its first investigation last December. And it's not just bakeware that's shattering. Andrea Rock Consumer Reports "There were eight reports involving glass bowls and seven involving glass measuring cups. Some shattered when hot water was poured into them. And others shattered in the microwave when used to heat foods, even though they're labeled microwave-safe." I think I'll stay away from this brand.
Is this as good as pyrex? I never heard of Anchor Hocking. Is it made by Corning? Wheaton Glass?
Anchor Hocking has been around a while. I think I saw it's one of those old American brands (yep: looked it up and dates back to 1905). I have Anchor glass bakeware and it's held up well.
The only glass stuff I've had break was Pyrex… they changed it from borosilicate to soda-lime glass. It broke because I took it out from the fridge and placed in a hot oven, the temp change was too quick and shattered the glass. You're also not supposed to broil with it.
I think that's good to follow with all glass bakeware/containers, don't let them heat too quickly (eg microwave direct from fridge).

Unfortunately, this applies to all glass bakeware/cookware/containers. Including Pyrex. (Happened to my Pyrex)
I don't get it my buddy made a big pyrex Bong in art school and smoked it with a blow torch and it never shattered. That was extreme temp and the bong had water and ice in the bulb. It was only for tobacco back then.
OMG Im so sorry to hear that. Are you ok? How did it happen? Do you go with metal now?
I'm fine— luckily it was inside the oven. So it was all contained. But PITA to clean up. This can happen to any glass bakeware. I'm careful not to heat too quickly or put hot food into a straight from fridge container.

The Pyrex bake dishes similar to the one in Woot link is this:

Whether you prefer Pyrex or not is irrelevant as the two sets are not the same,.
