For anyone curious, this is a Hikvision OEM camera.
Have 16 of these at my house, and 16 at my parent's house, can read license plates yards away.
Looks menacing, telling strangers you mean business.
Since the soffits are angled, I had a local metal shop make 4x5 brackets for mounting to the exterior walls.
Infrared lights give it excellent night vision capability.
No pan/tilt, so don't let the design fool you.
The domes get dusty, so get a brush on a pole to clean occasionally.

That would be my first guess .. Hikvision OEM ..

Yes. I got ..... 2 mounted against an exterior wall.
You'll have to FIRST adjust the camera inside the casing BEFORE you mount it, because the rotation cannot be unlimited .... the small wires carry the signal to the board inside, that's why it's not 360+ rotatable.
If mounted like that, get/fabricate a piece of flashing IF that camera will be in the rain, and place above the camera, with a slight tilt to allow rain to run off.
That's because there's a whole in the base for the ethernet cable exit, and I'd think it safer to stop any water coming down-and-into the camera casing BEFORE the camera, rather than trusting a sealant at that cable exit.

HOWEVER ..... that was a BIGGGG mistake, because the video feeds cannot be fed to a cloud storage :<<<<<<
..... that means anyone breaking-in can steal the recorder, or if the house burns down, ALL footage is lost .... *POOF*
My NVR is hidden, WITH an battery backup power supply .... pick a battery backup with the capability to send online Alerts in the even of a power failure. You'll need to get a Pi, load the UNIX software, and you'll know when that unit lost a power feed.
ANDDDDD:
No 2 way audio on these cameras :<<<<<
Yes, I know NOW pan/tilt and 2 way audio come at a significant premium.
So ....Do your research, look into 2 way audio AND cloud storage, AND confirm that capability with the Seller ... in writing, by email.
That's what I would've definitely done differently.
I'll also add: I've got Ring at both houses with the 200$ a year service.
Why?
Because Ring will run with cellular service if you lose internet.
..... and yes, of course, my Ring hubs are plugged into the same battery backup .... with the front doorbell also wired to that battery backup.
..... maybe there's an NVR with cellular cloud streaming???
I'd buy that in a heart beat.

Hi Matt
Would it work with
lorex n844 series nvr?

Once you know what recorder you will get, email that Seller to confirm any camera's you want are compatible.
But ... the cameras have to have the hardware you want, like 2 way audio and pan/tilt is what I would prioritize, so I'd confirm their software can support those functions on those cameras.
Create A Paper Trail, cover you butt, so if you get something other than what you were expecting, you've got their emails to support your Return.
Oh, 1 more thing:
Test all cameras before installing, AND as you install each one, immediately adjusting for the view you want .... since these cameras have a laborious way of opening them, you don't want to close everything up and realize you have to reopen any.
I did, and everything was good .... but that would be a serious PITA to install all day, just to then be crushed with a wiring or camera problem.
