Fwiw I just bought the omen 16 and returned it a week later. Wouldn't turn on if under 50% battery, seems to happen to others too. May just be a fluke.

This is now $1000 anyone have details on speaker quality, touchpad and keyboard and overall build quality? I always hated hps consumer grade stuff but omen laptops seem decent. Actually looks like a lot of their 3060 line hps are sub $1000 this weekend, really wish the legion was thags what I have my eyes on

Edit: At 1080P, doesn't a 3060 play everything at reasonable frame rates?

This seems like a great deal and worthy if you need a gaming rig now, but as mentioned above, the monster Alder Lakes are incoming and I do expect Intel will want to meet AMD full-on in battle.
