Electric scooters in general, any that go over 15mph can lead to serious injury during a fall. It's probably overkill for 99% of the time but when you have your first fall, you'll be thankful.

I fell on a similar scooter after Christmas. Didn't pull up my front wheel in time as I drove onto my concrete driveway off the street pavement as I'd done successfully dozens of times. Stopped the scooter in its tracks at 10-12mph and I went slamming onto the concrete. Landed on my hand and my knee. My hand was scratched and sore; my knee was bloody with a fractured kneecap and torn minicus and MCL. Gonna be a fun-filled 2022 dealing with my knee surgery and rehab.

Falling on a scooter is no different than falling on anything else. Falling on pavement is just dangerous. Scooters are more likely to fall.
Buy your scooters from bangood. 20mph is too slow for suburbia, but just right for the city. You cannot ride these on normal residential sidewalks unless you have suspension, (or if it's a development with newish sidewalks)

Please beware of their notorious cancellation (8%) and restocking fees (25%). BTW no online cancellation option and you need to call or email support. You will incur foreign transaction fee as well (unless your credit card waives it), as they process payment as a foreign entity.

I ended up paying 25% restocking fee for the bike I returned without even opening the package. They additionally charge shipping (for both original and return) and this charge I understand is valid. But restocking fee when the package was returned as is, thats something I don't.
I have read people here in SD commenting on foreign transaction fee and cancellation fee. Even if you want to cancel immediately after placing the order, you can't as there is no online option. You have to email them and response might take 24hrs.

Fall enough times mountain biking and you'll get the hang of it
